MaryAnn Easley is an award winning author and educator. Her books include I Am the Ice Worm, a Junior Library Guild Selection and ALA Quick Picks, Belly Up, Dog Woman, Looking Out for Lindy, A Few Screws Loose, and Warrior’s Daughter.

Her articles have appeared nationally and regionally in publications like the Los Angeles Times, Bay Views, San Jose Mercury News, Westways, Dawn, San Francisco Chronicle and a number of in-flight magazines. The author of Verbal Advantage, SuperPhonics, Career Advantage, Alpha-18 and other audio learning programs sold nationwide, she has developed language arts curriculum for both public and alternative schools.

She speaks at creative writing and book clubs, libraries, colleges, and other adult groups about writing and was a top finalist in Glimmer Train for her short story Hannah’s War. She teaches a number of fiction writing classes for adults and facilitates writing critiques.

Elected Teacher of the Year three times at her school site before retiring, she received the Award of Excellence from the San Diego Reading Association.

Gloria Gales is an art teacher for homeschoolers known for her encouragement, support and incredible insight into each child's artistic strengths. Gloria has previously conducted homeschooling classes within her fine art studio in Ladera Ranch allowing children to explore fine art while enriching their artistic expression.

Gloria Gales has enjoyed the art world since 1984 working as a professional art dealer and art appraiser. Gloria's work has taken her around the world; she has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.

Before moving to Orange County, Gloria Gales owned and directed The Modern Art Gallery of Boca Raton in South Florida. In 1999 she moved to Telluride, Colorado where she continued to work as an art dealer.
