Poetry & Prose - Painting with Words

This class is intended for both boy and girl writers and poets of any level. As a member of the Laguna Beach Poets and founder of a middle school Poetry Society, MaryAnn has a innate ability to make poetry writing fun and personal appealing to a child's own personal interests and desires. Students will also get to see their poems published on-line at the EducateMate site. Join us for this six week discovery into the wonderful world of poetry and prose!

Art in the Park

Great art isn't created within a four wall classroom. Experience art in a way which provides individual expression and creativity while encompassing learning techniques. The class will meet at designated on-site locations designed to provide kids with an opportunity to be inspired by their rich surroundings. Kids may select their own pictures, choose from a diverse color palette and learn hands on techniques to turn their artwork into masterpieces.

Writing Boot Camp for Kids!

It's time for a writing work out! Designed to encourage kids of all writing levels, this dynamic exercise will help shape young writer's fictional stories and poetry. Creating exciting characters, intriguing plots and settings as well as fascinating dialogue are key fiction writing components kids will enjoy learning. Facilitated by MaryAnn Easley, an award winning author and educator.
